Throughout 2022, staff and tenants have held several events at Eshwin Hall which they would like to share with everyone.  Coffee mornings are held twice a year, one around Easter and one at the end of the summer. A foodie night is held each Wednesday, it cost £2 for a two-course meal, the tenants also get a stamp each week if they take part, similar to a loyalty card buy 7 get the 8^th free.

Many trips have taken place including,  Sunderland dogs, York on the train, Blackpool, the pantomime to name but a few, all which have been paid for by fundraising activities.  This year we also had the Queens Jubilee Street party which the local community were heavily involved in taking part.

We have held a Halloween party and decorated for it, and Eshwin Hall is now fully decorated for Christmas. Christmas activities at the moment include, wreath making to sell and raise monies ready for our 2023 day trips.

Finally, Auckland Home Solutions held a Christmas card competition with all tenants. Tenants were asked to design AHS Christmas card for 2022.  The winner was Betty Reay from Eshwin Hall and below is her winning Christmas card entry.
