One of our main activities in June was to celebrate a tenant’s birthday. Our newest tenant is a sociable man who ordinarily would be out in the community  interacting with family, friends and attending social groups. Sadly the lockdown took a lot of this away. With help from staff members and tenants he chose to embrace the positive vibe of Prince of Wales Road which really helped him, in what could have been a very difficult time. In order to celebrate this on his birthday we held a birthday party/disco.

All communal areas were decorated from top to bottom and we chose to carry on the rainbow theme with a homemade rainbow  birthday cake. Our staff member Sally pulled out all the stops by baking an outstanding and delicious cake.

It was the best birthday ever.
